No true surprise when I learned during Bandcamp search that Dream Quest is an alter-ego of the artist Sayer because I have been following Sayer for years. I love pretty much everything he releases into our earthly realm out of his "divine" inspiration! ❤️ 'Of the Gods' is no exception. Bravo!

Fredschuit Is it Jarre? Is it Vangelis? Is it Tangerine Dream? Is it Kraftwerk? No, it is Dream Quest (Sayer) with a great masterpiece. And all numbers are 7/8/9 minutes. Yesssssss, I love it and the album also.

The debut Dream Quest release "Of the Gods" offers a musical homage to ancient Greek mythology.

With "Of the Gods" I have resurrected Dream Quest as an artist name, which I previously used around 20 years ago. The music is a bit more melodic than typical Sayer releases, although it has plenty of sequencing and energetic moments. These tracks reflect how the pandemic has effected me, and shows my desire for a more positive future ahead.

God of music, arts, knowledge, healing, plague, prophecy, poetry, manly beauty, and archery.

2) Iris
Goddess of the rainbow and divine messenger.

3) Aether
God of light and the upper atmosphere.

4) Hera
Queen of the gods, and goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, heirs, kings, and empires.

5) Tethys
Goddess of fresh-water, and the mother of the rivers, springs, streams, fountains, and clouds.

6) Hermes
God of boundaries, travel, communication, trade, language, thieves and writing.

7) Chronos
God of empirical time.

8) Zeus
King of the gods, ruler of Mount Olympus, and god of the sky, weather, thunder, lightning, law, order, and justice.

9) Aphrodite
Goddess of beauty, love, desire, and pleasure.
